His fall was obscured at one point I believe by a passing bus. At this point he caught a rope to get into a window, and another corpse was thrown off by Molly. If you pause on the face close up you can see it isn't Sherlock through all the blood (they put the face upside down just to confuse people). Watson didn't get this because he was all concussed, and Molly helped fake the PM. Sherlock knew he was going to his 'death', hence why he went to help from Molly before hand, and chose a specifically high up location next to a bus stop. Elementary! XD
